Lactation Support
The initial lactation visit is a 120 minute appointment tailored to fit your individual needs.
If your insurance policy is not in network, the visit fee is $215 for a home visit, or $150 for an office visit. You will be billed up front and provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Follow up appointments are 30-60 minutes. We will evaluate your concerns and my findings, and update your care plan as needed so that you can continue to meet your breastfeeding goals.
Your baby will be weighed, latched assessed, and all new and/or continued concerns will be addressed.
If your insurance policy is not in network, each follow-up visit is $185 for a home visit, and $130 for an office visit. You will be billed up front and provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
These visits include, but are not limited to:
- Maternal medical history and breast assessment
- Infant medical history, physical and oral assessment
- Latch assessment
- Discussion of feeding goals
- Pre and Post feed weights
- Management of identified lactation issues/family concerns
- Expected newborn behavior vs concerning symptoms
- Flange sizing
- Pumping assistance
